Our Parish vision is a future full of hope as we create a intergenerational community of children, teen, young adults, middle-age and seniors, with a full church for Sunday Mass.

Rationale Behind the Goal
Drawing more individuals into our parish will take ongoing evaluation of techniques and inspiration to get the word out about who we are and why new members should join us. Also, we believe that since the cluster we belong to became defunct, there are some Catholics around Oxford Junction and its surrounding towns that are not actively going to church or engaged in their faith.

Action Steps w/ Timeline and Responsible Parties
1. To increase parish engagement and participation in community events such as car parades in Oxford Junction and surrounding towns of Wyoming, Clarence, etc., for evangelization purpose using posters, flyers, parish T-Shirts/other merchandise.

-Monte Ahrendsen and Blain Crock (Parish Council members)
2. To expand Sacred Heart's contacts and presence in the surrounding towns by linking the parish with adding three community-based communication channels including local radio announcement, newspapers, and local newsletters. To revamp the parish media platform for the parish events.

-Parish Council Members and identified parishioners
3. To organize three Soup Supper events during the Lenten Season for the community to show support and presence in the parish and Sacred Heart church in the community to engage potential new members and give back to the people around us.
-Winter/Spring 2025 during Lenten timeframe

4. To perform Christmas music/carol night and open it up to the community.

Communication of Goal & Progress
First, communication will be through the website and the social media platforms. Also, announcements at Mass and in the weekly bulletin.
Second, parishioners will be personally encouraged to be part of the process. For each event and timelines, parishioners will be informed on the previous stated platforms and encouraged to fully embrace and participate in the process.
